Abstract
Rotation subluxations of the atlas (RSA) were encountered in 77 children in a period of 3 years. The authors believe that "fresh" RSA should be managed by non-operative methods. However, some diseases and injuries with the similar clinical manifestations often lead to diagnostic and tactical errors.
