Abstract
The three species of Atyphloceras Jordan & Rothschild, 1915 and the four species of Hystrichopsylla Taschenberg, 1880 known to occur in North America north of Mexico are reviewed with respect to their host preferences and distribution. Keys are provided for the species, and their diagnostic characters are illustrated.
