Abstract
The concept of the "Nachrichtenquadrat" tries to analyse messages and splits them into 4 aspects. Besides the information-part there is always a message of relation involved, as well as a kind of selfdisclosure and sometimes an appeal to the address. Corresponding the same 4-dimensional view is applied to the "ears" of the one who receives a message.
