Abstract
The authors presented results of extracapsular cataract extraction with IOL implantation performed in 421 eyes using (with) simple removal of the lens nucleus, according to Pears' method. Details of this technique and the value of this way of nucleus removal for the later stages of cataract surgery is discussed.
