Abstract
An endobronchial metastasis of rectal carcinoma was found in a 62-year-old man three years after removal of the primary tumour. It imitated an aspirated foreign body and produced stromal foci of heterotopic ossification. Focal ossification was noticed in the revised primary tumour as well.
