Organizational issues in health informatics: the challenges we face.

This paper presents an overview of the many challenges facing the more wide-spread acceptance of the necessity of using sound organizational strategies and tactics in the implementation of health care informatics systems. The nature of today's changing information environment is reviewed as are the causes of implementation failures and the requirements for systems success.
