[Non-thyroidal side effects of amiodarone].

This article reviews the non thyroidal side effects of amiodarone. Such a review is justified in the face of the many possible side effects contrasting with the security and the efficacy of the drug as an antiarrhythmic agent. Taking into account that the posology and the follow-up schedule are largely individual, useful informations are given to prevent major toxicities.
