[The preparation of a hollow prosthesis for the filling of a defect in the maxilla after its resection].

A method for making a hollow postresection prosthesis is offered. Unlike the known methods, a cavity is formed in a ready prosthesis with a cutter from the side of the tongue. The cavity is closed with a plate (lid) by means of self-hardening plastic. The weight of the prosthesis is appreciably reduced.
