[Nursing research in geriatric nursing. A study of the literature based on 2 scientific specialty periodicals].

This paper seeks to produce a brief survey on research in the domain of nursing in Germany over the comparatively short period of around the last 15 years. Against the background of demographic increase of the elderly as well as increase of chronic illness requirements of nursing, and particularly, nursing sciences are being examined. Out of the two sole German-language journals on nursing research articles dealing specifically with nursing in geriatrics are listed and categorized accordingly.
