From 1990 till 1994 people aged 15-32 years with mine-explosive wounds were admitted to the military hospital, 34 of them (47.2%) needed intense therapy. Multiple and combined injuries (82.4%) prevailed. The authors made an analysis of the terms of giving qualified and specialized medical aid, causes of lethal outcomes and specific features of performing intense therapy for the mine-explosive wounds.
