Abstract
Advanced practice nurses have many career alternatives. The role of the advanced practice nurse in the judicial system is as a cross-jurisdictional advocate--a case manager, a court advocate, and a legal nurse consultant. This article explores these roles with specific emphasis to the problem of family violence.
