Abstract
AIMS
To identify the most appropriate surgical strategy for carcinoma of the urachus.
METHODS
Analysis of a case of adenocarcinoma of the urachus and an examination of the current literature were carried out.
CONCLUSIONS
Partial cystectomy is considered the most appropriate surgical strategy but the need for close follow-up is underlined.
