Abstract

This article traces the path of a manuscript that is submitted for publication consideration from the time of its receipt to its ultimate appearance in print. The peer review process is explained in detail. Though the process is similar for most journals, this article describes the process specific to the Journal of PeriAnesthesia Nursing.
