Abstract
Treatment of 13 years old boy with chondrosarcoma arising in solitary osteochondroma located within distal 1/3 of the femur is presented. Two local, nonradical excisions resulted in dissemination of the tumor within soft tissues making salvage procedure unfeasible. An above the knee amputation has been performed. At 1.5 years follow-up no recurrence of the neoplasm have been found.

本文介绍了一名13岁男孩的治疗情况，其股骨远端1/3处的孤立性骨软骨瘤发生了软骨肉瘤。两次局部非根治性切除导致肿瘤在软组织内播散，使挽救性手术无法实施。已进行了膝上截肢术。随访1.5年未发现肿瘤复发。
