A new connecting-device is described, which was developed in order to record electrical activities of the gastrointestinaltract in animal experiments (24 dogs). The device is implanted in to the abdominal wall and connected to the indwelling bipolar electrodes. Measurements were carried out up to 30 days after operation without any complications.
