Abstract
The authors report the dramatic regression in endemic goiter that has taken place in the Spanish provice of Castellón de la Plana, comparing data obtained in 1958 and 1974 with present-day data. They stress the fact that the plenomenon has occurred without a previous prophylaxis program.
