Abstract
Forty-three cases of hypervascularized tumors and vascular lesions supplied by external carotid artery were treated by endovascular embolization. The results showed that hypervascularized tumor's bleeding markedly reduced and its volume diminished during operation; vascular lesions were cured or improved after embolization. The choice of embolic materials and technical essentials were discussed.
