A merely lymphological analysis of edema, would be as onesided as a merely phlebological, a merely nephrological, or a merely endocrinological analysis. Heart, arteries, veins, microcirculation, lymphatics, and the whole mesenchym, with the connective tissue ground substance and the cells, form an inseparable unity. Only a complex analysis which considers all connections, makes it possible to unterstand the various edemas--in favour of a reasonable therapy.
仅仅从淋巴学角度分析水肿，就如同仅仅从静脉学、肾脏病学或内分泌学角度分析一样片面。心脏、动脉、静脉、微循环、淋巴管以及整个间充质，连同结缔组织基质和细胞，构成一个不可分割的整体。只有进行综合考虑所有关联因素的复杂分析，才有可能理解各种水肿情况，从而有利于采取合理的治疗方法。
