Preventing wheelchair theft.

With the cost of replacing a wheelchair estimated at $500 to $700, hospitals are eager to make it more difficult for would-be thieves to steal this piece of essential equipment. In this report, we will describe the steps several hospitals are taking to prevent wheelchair theft and the devices available to make such theft more difficult. A wheelchair inventory control form is also included.
