Environmental Protection Act: waste provisions. Waste Management Division, Department of the Environment.

This paper is a guide to the waste management provisions in Part II of the Environmental Protection Act relating to England and Wales. It is not an exhaustive guide; many of the provisions dealing with waste collection and recycling are excluded. Nor should it be treated as definitive; it contains simplifications, and for further clarification the Act itself should be consulted. With reference to LAWDCs, the paper expresses the current view, which may be subject to modification.
