[Effect of water expenditure in small rivers on the number of microorganisms].

The effect of runoff of mountain rivers discharging into the Baikal Lake on the number of microflora was studied in the conditions of water reservoirs subjected to industrial activity. The number of microorganisms was found to depend on the river runoff during high waters whose intensity was influenced by industrial activity within the reservoir area.
