Fire safety evaluation system for Canadian hospitals Phase I report.

This paper presents the Canadian Hospital Fire Safety Evaluation System (CHFSES) as a framework based on the project team's analysis. The CHFSES will be vigorously tested to ensure that the final product is unquestionably an effective fire safety evaluation system for hospitals in Canada. The CHFSES will be a dynamic system that can easily be modified to reflect changes in the National Building Code of Canada.
