The pharmacist's role in healthcare is changing. With increased use of automation for drug delivery, the pharmacist's role is becoming more of an information provider. Many tools are available to aid in that role not the least of which are computers and, by extension, the computer network called the Internet. This network provides the opportunity for people to communicate via E-Mail and a means of downloading useful software that is located in other computers. In short, there is a great wealth of information available on the Internet and knowing how to find and access it is a very useful and powerful skill to learn.
