Assimilating the Medicaid HMO population.

The integration of the Medicaid population into a commercial health plan will present numerous delivery, logistical, and administrative challenges for many of the nation's HMOs. The author highlights some of the changes that may be necessary for HMOs to successfully adapt to and address the needs of these new customers.
