Health care reform and long-term care pharmacy.

"Waiting and preparing" describes the health care reform activity of most of the larger long-term care pharmacy providers. The complexity of this service sector, in combination with the potentially enormous cost and actuarial uncertainty, seems to have averted major federal action at this time. The frenzy caused by the reform debate, however, has precipitated several changes at the state level that may not be as prudent.
