The Secretary of Health and Human Services (the "Secretary"), in consultation with the Attorney General, issues the following rules under the "Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act of 1992." The Act provides for liability protection for certain health care professionals and entities. This rules sets forth information whereby an entity or a person can determine when, and the extent to which, it is likely to be protected under the Act.
