There may be a revolution raging in long term care, but directors of nursing are doing all they can just to hold their ground. Contemporary Long Term Care's annual DON salary survey finds directors of nursing soldiering on despite a shortage of money, time, and motivated staff--and despite salaries that are, on the average, slightly lower than last year's.
