Abstract
Modern Healthcare's annual Contract Management Survey reveals that hospitals are casting an ever-more-critical eye on their basic services to see what they can and cannot do well. Those that can be done cheaper and better by outsiders are likely to be handed over to the mushrooming contract management system.
