[Acute renal insufficiency in poisoning with cistol (carbon tetrachloride)].

Three cases of acute intoxication with the preparation "Cistol", containing tetrachloro-methane were described, with the development of acute renal insufficiency, treated with hemodialysis. The attention of the physicians and the society is drawn to the risk of intoxication by that preparation. Early hemodialysis is recommended in case of such intoxications.
