The value of late remanipulation followed by fixation with a Rush rod was studied in 14 patients with Older type 4 Colles' fractures. At follow-up, the dorsal angulation was improved in 13 of 14 patients, and the radial shortening was unchanged. Subjectively, six patients were fully satisfied, five were partially satisfied, and three were unsatisfied with the final result. It is concluded that operative management is successful and patients have good benefit from this form of treatment.
对14例老年4型科雷氏骨折患者进行了研究，探讨了晚期手法复位后用Rush棒固定的价值。随访时，14例患者中有13例背侧成角得到改善，桡骨短缩情况未变。主观上，6例患者对最终结果完全满意，5例部分满意，3例不满意。结论是手术治疗是成功的，患者从这种治疗方式中获益良好。
