Unfortunately, violence against home care workers is on the increase. The varied work schedules and plans of home care staff can present challenges when instituting a safety program; not all urban agency staff work in an office, nor do they all get to their job sites the same way. One agency has developed a comprehensive security and safety program to protect both office and field staff.
