Abstract
The Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) has proposed new regulations that require home care providers to report outcome results. The Outcomes and Assessment Information Set will be the vehicle by which home care providers reach outcomes-based quality improvement--the ultimate goal for the industry and HCFA.
