Abstract

This rule establishes requirements and conditions necessary for the implementation of the new Electronic Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Amendments of 1996, 5 U.S.C. 552, as amended by Pub. L. 104-231. This addition to the present regulation will establish criteria that will enable FOIA requesters to better understand how documents of the Agency are maintained and handled electronically.
