The nation's medical colleges are coming out of a decade of growth and expansion into what some perceive as a steady-state decade that will see a decline in financial support and an increase in regulation. Physicians and administrators gathered at the annual convention of the Association of American Medical Colleges discussed the effects of such a restricted environment on medical education and health care in general.
