This article is divided into two main sections: one deals with appearance, and the other discusses behavior. The ritual of job interviews has been viewed by many as one of the most important encounters that determines the start of a successful career, while others view the interview as an adversarial game of "survival of the fittest." The interview setting is assumed to be at the site of future employment rather than a group interview setting at a college or convention.
