Obtaining the necessary capital to develop a senior housing facility can be one of the project's biggest problems, especially with the passage of the Tax Reform Act. However, new financing alternatives for senior housing are being developed, including mortgage financing, equity, tax-exempt bonds, and taxable bonds.
