Abstract

HCFA proposes to reorganize and rewrite existing regulations for the Medicare program (title XVIII of the Social Security Act). The regulations currently located in 42 CFR Part 405 would be reorganized, simplified, and renumbered to make them easier to use, as part of the Department's Operation Common Sense Project. This recodification has been classified as technical. A regualtory analysis is not planned.
