The clinical types of A-V-block and the localization of the underlying lesion to the conduction pathway have been examined in 25 patients. On the evidence of the post mortem studies the lesions were of the following types: 1) Necrosis or fibrosis of ischaemic origin: 13 cases; 2) lesions of inflammatory character: 5 cases; 3) nonspecific lesions; 6 cases; 4) malignant infiltration: one case. Correlations between the site of lesion and the clinical type and pattern of block could be demonstrated in a large proportion of the cases. The characteristic features of the individual types of block and their localization are discussed and a review of the literature is given.
对25例患者的房室传导阻滞临床类型及潜在病变在传导通路中的定位进行了研究。根据尸检研究证据，病变有以下类型：1）缺血性坏死或纤维化：13例；2）炎症性病变：5例；3）非特异性病变：6例；4）恶性浸润：1例。在大部分病例中可证明病变部位与临床类型及阻滞模式之间的相关性。讨论了各型阻滞的特征及其定位，并对文献进行了综述。
