Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To study of the relationship between inhibition of the growth rate of mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEF) and the dosage of dexamethasone.

METHOD

Cell culture.

RESULTS

The effect was observed from 48 to 72 hours after addition of 50 micrograms/ml (0.005%) dexamethasone. In comparison with the control, the number of MEF was cut down by 16%-26%, whereas the addition of dexamethasone between 1 microgram/ml and 10 micrograms/ml (0.0001-0.001%) had no significant effect on the rate of growth of MEF.

CONCLUSION

The minimal dosage of dexamethasone has no significant inhibitory effect on the growth rate of fibroblasts and wound healing.

目的

研究地塞米松剂量与小鼠胚胎成纤维细胞(MEF)生长速率抑制之间的关系。
