Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To understand the mechanism and pathogenesis of Sjögrens syndrome (SS) and to provide theoretical basis for the treatment of SS.

METHOD

Salivary gland lymphocytes (SGL) from 20 patients with SS were analyzed by using immunohistochemical avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex (ABC) method.

RESULT

A predominance of T cells was found in SGL with the majority belonging to the CD4+(TH), and the CD8+(TS) subset was obviously decreased, while the CD4+/CD8+ ratio was considerably increased. Most lymphocytes expressed HLA-DR antigen in SS. The deficiency of Ts and the overactivity of TH would result in autoantibody production, that would contribute to the reaction of autoimmune.

CONCLUSION

The immune hyperfunction at exocrine glands of SS is the direct cause of the pathogenesis of SS. SS is further proved to be an autoimmune disease.

目的

了解干燥综合征(SS)的发病机制,为SS的治疗提供理论依据。

方法

采用免疫组织化学抗生物素蛋白-生物素-过氧化物酶复合物(ABC)法对20例SS患者的唾液腺淋巴细胞(SGL)进行分析。

结果

SGL中T细胞占优势,大多数属于CD4 +(TH),CD8 +(TS)亚群明显减少,而CD4 + / CD8 +比值显著增加。SS中大多数淋巴细胞表达HLA-DR抗原。Ts缺乏和TH过度活跃会导致自身抗体产生,这将促成自身免疫反应。

结论

SS外分泌腺的免疫功能亢进是SS发病机制的直接原因。进一步证明SS是一种自身免疫性疾病。
