BACKGROUND
Carcinoma associated with Hodgkin's disease is quite uncommon.
CASE REPORT
A 56-year-old man was hospitalized for abdominal pain and weight loss. Clinical explorations led to the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma of the colon and confirmed the diagnosis of Hodgkin's disease suspected on the basis of the first bone marrow biopsy. After surgical resection of the colon tumor, chemotherapy was successful in eliminating the Hodgkin lesions.
DISCUSSION
Several factors could be involved in this association, but none has been proven.
