[Dental instrument as foreign body in the air-passage].

A case report on a Kerr-broach aspirated to the left bronchial tree is presented. The broach was removed with difficulties using bronchoscope and forceps. The use of rubber dam is advocated in endodontic therapy. A scheme to handle foreign bodies in the bronchial tree is outlined involving immediate X-ray and removal by an experienced endoscopist.
