[Histomorphologic examination of the submaxillary gland of the rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus)].

The histological study of the sub-mandibular gland of the adult rabbit was followed by a study of the post-natal development until the age of 15 days. The presence at birth of acinar and intercalated granular duct cells allowed a precise study of these structures and showed a high positive differential growth of the intercalated ducts from the tenth to the fifteenth day.
