[Problems of special education of handicapped children in the Russian Federation].

The problems in the control of health, its promotion, and specialized education in handicapped children in Russia are considered. Examples of improving the differential network of specialized (correcting) educational establishments and data on other measures aimed at solving the above problems are given.
