Ask the doctor. For several years now, my lower legs have been painful and somewhat swollen, especially at the end of the day. My doctor says that my veins are not getting the blood back to my heart like they used to, but that it is just part of aging (I am 72 years old). He tells me to put my feet up as much as possible, but that's not very practical when you have a lot to do! Isn't there anything else I could try?
