PURPOSE/METHODS: We report a case of a 71-year-old patient with a conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma with scleral and orbital invasion. Due to clinical suspicion of inferior rectus invasion and despite non conclusive histologic intraoperative findings, we decided to enucleate since the macroscopic features suggested an invasive lesion.
RESULTS/CONCLUSIONS: The histologic study is the most important factor to decide the therapeutic management in these neoplasias; however, other clinical features must be considered in each patient.
目的/方法：我们报告一例71岁患有结膜鳞状细胞癌伴巩膜和眼眶侵犯的患者。由于临床怀疑下直肌受侵，尽管术中组织学检查结果不明确，但鉴于宏观特征提示为浸润性病变，我们决定行眼球摘除术。
结果/结论：组织学研究是决定这些肿瘤治疗方案的最重要因素；然而，对于每位患者还必须考虑其他临床特征。
