The aim of the paper was to examine the level of knowledge of health conquences of nicotinism among secondary school pupils. It was also intended to determine what attitudes towards passive smoking and towards anti-nicotine act that is presently in force, they have. The results of the survey were analysed according to sex, class that the subjects attended and the fact if they were active smokers.
