Abstract
The art of safe and effective restraint of non-domestic patients can aid in their management and facilitate their health care delivery. This article discusses some of the strategies and basic equipment required in handling these unique patients more commonly seen by veterinary practitioners. These restraint procedures may offer an alternative to anesthesia for minor, less stressful procedures that do not involve pain.
