Automotive body primers: Their application in vehicle identification.

An approach to vehicle identification based on the varied primer color combinations used by the automobile manufacturers is outlined. A description is given of the primer color combinations found on a number of domestic and foreign cars. The expediency of this system of vehicle identification by successive elimation is discussed.
