Stress, fatigue or march fractures rarely occur in children. Usually the bones do not show any other pathological alterations. The authors observed a 10 year old girl with stress fracture of the tibia, and additional skeletal alterations like "fibroma non ossificans" which probably are not connected with the main disease.
